My 3 Go-To Real Estate Books…and Maybe Yours Too

Reading is a Super-Power

(Enough said…end of newsletter)

No, but seriously. If you’re not reading it’s time to start finding what your habit might look like.

I would be in a drastically different position than where I am now if it were not for the time I’ve spent associating with these authors/entrepreneurs/leaders thru their words and written text.

So…first things first 👇👇

The 3 Real Estate Books That Changed my Stars 🌟

Number 1: Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Okay, surprise surprise. Is this what everyone says!? Well, it’s THAT GOOD! This is literally one of those books that changes the way you think…forever.

It was Sunday morning in 2013 when I walked into a library and finally picked up the little purple book. I was done reading it by 4pm that afternoon. And I hadn’t voluntarily picked up a book to read since High School.

If you are trading your time for money…and want to learn how you can trade money to make money. Grab a copy of this book and lean in.

Number 2: Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller

Hey real estate agents…you’ve heard of the red book right? Millionaire Real estate AGENT? But have you taking the time to pick up the blue one.

This book is written by the godfather of real estate, Gary Keller, and has a very tactical approach to wealth building and getting your real estate portfolio to start working for you (and your retirement).

Real estate investing books come and go but this one is timeless. This one actually helped me make my first moves. Worth diving into the mind of Gary, who has arguably studied real estate more than any other person in America.

Number 3: Tax Free Wealth by Tom Wheelwright

It’s not about making money…it’s about keeping it. If you ask any high income earning who to talk to about tax strategy, Tom Wheelwright’s name will come up.

“Partnering with the Government” was a concept I’d never understood.

Rewind to 2021 when I took this book seriously and implemented. And then in 2021, 2022, and hopefully 2023….Because of my real estate tax strategy, I haven’t had a tax bill.

Yes, that’s 100% true.

And you can too if you start to soak in knowledge from guys like Tom.

CONCLUSION:

You guys…these are my 3. But the best book for you is the one you’re going to read and then IMPLEMENT!!

“Education without implementation is just entertainment”

BONUS: Bigger Pockets - Intention Journal

This isn’t a book you read…it’s one you DO. This a journal specifically for real estate goals. Check it out if you’re looking for accountability.
